Home Share: Personalized Living with the Right Caregiver Support

Home Share is a flexible living arrangement where you can either live in a caregiver’s home—or have the caregiver live in yours. It’s all about finding the right fit for you.

Through a person-centered planning approach, we’ll talk with you to understand what kind of home and caregiver you’re looking for—things like location, whether you’re comfortable with pets or kids, caregiver gender, and personality. You get to choose who you live with, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Already have someone in mind? Great! We can support that, too. Our team will complete a Home Study, which includes visiting the home, checking for safety, reviewing references, and making sure the caregiver has first aid training and a clear criminal record.

If you don’t have a caregiver in mind, we’ll introduce you to people we think could be a great match. You’ll have the chance to visit their home, spend time together, and decide if it feels right. There’s no pressure—you only move forward when you’re comfortable and ready.
