Respite Services

(Caregiver Breaks)

Respite care offers family members and caregivers a chance to rest, recharge, or take care of other responsibilities—knowing their loved one is in safe hands.

Whether you need support for a few hours or a full 24-hour period, we’re here to help. Our trained staff can step in to provide care at home, in the community, or in one of our respite settings. Every member of our team is trained in first aid, medication support, and experienced in working with individuals of all abilities.

“The respite program is very organized and strives to meet the needs of the persons served. They also follow up with families and persons served to make the experience the best it can be.

The staff members are open and willing to provide support to persons served with some unique needs and are creative in how they address situations. They strive to ensure that there is a high level of satisfaction with the services.”

- CARF® Canada

We offer respite care in three flexible ways to give families and caregivers a break, while ensuring their loved ones are safe, supported, and engaged:

  • Overnight Stays in Our Staffed Home

Short-term stays in our licensed home, with 24-hour support, fun activities, and community outings in a safe, welcoming environment.

  • Respite in a Community Home

Your loved one stays with a trained respite caregiver in the community. We help find the right match to ensure comfort, safety, and support.

  • One-on-One Hourly Support

A trained support worker provides care for a few hours at a time—at home or out in the community. Scheduling is flexible to fit your needs.
