LITES

Learning Independence Through Everyday Skills

We offer day services Monday to Friday through our LaHave LITES program located in our Adult Residential Centre. The program focusses on providing supports that:

  • Help people become more independent.

  • Help participants find work by teaching new skills and providing support.

  • Help people take part in their community through activities that matter to them.

  • Respect each person’s choices and support them in making their own decisions.

  • Make sure participants feel included in the community and are connected to the activities and supports they choose.

If you are interested in attending LITES you can contact the program directly at 902-543-7851 or Lahavelites@balsam.ca , or you can contact your Care Coordinator at the Department of Opportunities and Social Development and they may be able to refer you to us.
